Found these 2 coins in a mixed lot, both appear to be silver in colour & off metal strike(Not plated, tested edge with white fluid & no usual signs of being plated) the 1902 Edward VII Halfpenny compared to a normal coin is a thicker planchet at nearly 2mm, weight is 5.9 grams & 26mm, the coin has some wear to high spots but otherwise is in very good condition. The 1901 Victoria Farthing is very similar in appearance & weight is 2.88 grams & 21mm. Can anyone help with identification of what these might be. Thank you

Hi everyone, I have recently purchased this 1902 crown. I need help with the grade & value, because... The coin unfortunately features a few edge knocks, so my question is: does this affect the grade - because grading, I have always been made to believe, is based on detail; and more importantly, how much does this affect the value? Here is the front:

Hi Folks, Have been reading the forum for some time (thank you!) but joined today to post. My father had a fairly small collection of coins but never got round to sorting it very well before he passed away, I'm currently trying to sort it and am enjoying the experience and feeling close to him. Initially I was very excited when I came across what I thought to be a Gold Sovereign, however I have now read up about fakes but am still too much of a novice to be able to tell the difference. It is Edward VII 1904, I assume made in London (Please see attached pictures) I don't have very accurate scales but it weighs between 4-5grams - I think a bit light? Any advice on its authenticity (and how to tell!) would be much appreciated!
