  1. Sold for £250. One bid. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1926-ME-Penny-George-V-Uncirculated-NGC-MS-63-RB-Extremely-Rare-F-195-/333710807341?hash=item4db2b6d12d%3Ag%3AF-4AAOSwUKRfU67~&nma=true&si=QT4MgIgiP0d%2Bhd5uqrf6VdwHKJM%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  2. Chris Morris will explain….
  3. https://www.spink.com/lot/19006000503
  4. 'Appears to be proof, or PL'.
  5. WTF? That scratch is horrible (Scratch? Some might say gouge.) and there's deffo evident wear. And those import charges? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1816-Great-Britain-Shilling-NGC-UNC-George-III-Bullhead/254676952718?hash=item3b4bede68e:g:as0AAOSwP8pfJLW2 Update: I've just now noticed their other offerings. Pricing is mental, yet I see they have 1423 sales and 100% customer satisfaction feedback. Why do Yanks pay these prices for tat?
  6. We have both the 1969 Maggie Smith film and the 1978 TV series with Geraldine McEwan. If Pinewood I should think you're referring to the original film? I've skimmed through this morning but haven't been able to spot the van in any of the street scenes. Do you know where and when it appears? If you do, I'll grab a shot and put it up on here.
  7. There's a new big budget costume drama series called 'Harlots', about prostitution in 18th century London, beginning next week on BBC 2. During the trailer we see coins being thrown into a coffer already filled with money. Here's a screen grab. 18th century?
  8. A R Alexander. Rev. Edward Casaubon reborn?…...
  9. And did you see the other listings? 25 years? Cracked out of a package newly landed from China. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Coins/11116/m.html?item=224097567098&hash=item342d41817a%3Ag%3AD7kAAOSwvgVfIIaY&_ssn=dcb.99 Is that 1845 horror show tooled? Why bother? Polish a turd and what do you have? A shiny turd. Boom boom. I'll get me coat….
  10. Grab yourself a bargain. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/lfcandroyals4eva/m.html?_trksid=p3692
  11. Sarah Cooper has a new clip on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8oaaP68i4s
  12. I'm learning to speak French but am having difficulty with the numbers. Try as I might I just can't get past seven. Turns out, I have a huit allergy.
  13. Or maybe; 'Never having to say you're sorry'…..
  14. ITMA https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1821-UK-Great-Britain-United-Kingdom-KING-GEORGE-IV-Silver-Shilling-Coin-i77850/352662689681?hash=item521c559791:g:stMAAOSwISZc2KOY

  16. You're quite right J, both.
  17. Possibly, but as with 'tiny hands' Trump, it's more likely a lame device for hiding the lack of, erm, substantial trouser profile….
  18. I note our great leader, Brother Veritas, has now adopted Trump's ridiculously elongated necktie look. Takes pounds off, apparently, and 'Let me be very clear about this.' in no way makes you look a total div.
  19. Or something to be found adjacent to a chunk of rotting bark.
  20. And further down the page an equally enticing embarrassment of riches offered by the same seller. I'm kicking myself for missing the end time on this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EXTREMELY-RARE-Minting-Error-1-SHILLING-SILVER-COIN-1926-/254606269370?_trksid=p2385738.m4383.l44720.c10&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true The same seller does though have two other treasures for my consideration, so all is not lost. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/daa2323/m.html?item=254606269370&nordt=true&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
