  1. glad i didn't have any lots selling through this round, can all agree still better than LCA ☺️
  2. im a die person, got images of these at all? you also aware of the cancelled USA olympic dies that came with the sets?
  3. bout some hammered for you civil war lovers
  4. different date- different rulers- and same denominations almost playing bingo of what is wrong with it
  5. woops :)
  6. interesting maundy set
  7. add mine to the mix, look for sharp jaggy edges/milling thats how i tend to tell
  8. short read for you :)
  9. think £60 each
  10. this looks really off to me, double check weights diameters thickness etc, detail on this is soapy. looks like a cast copy to me
  11. if you are talking about what i think you are, i look at the same thing. Most times the reeding/milling on the edges of the proofs is a lot more sharp and well defined.
  12. i don't quite understand though, there are more than 1 of these on the market/in collections though?
  13. i've personally purchased one of these with the RM letter of confirmation. so my name and the letter name is different
  14. oops bhf 😨 for a great cause at least
  15. i asked the museum for a pic a while back and they sent me it, thought id share the beut edit: also appears to be on the website now too 😁
  16. i love me some slabs let me know how you get on
  17. my impression is all the modern decimal stuff is what the RM is supplying found "lying about"/left overs returned from post offices etc, they are not providing any of the pre-decimal items from their stores/museum.
  18. mind if i nip pictures off you of the 1936 proof set? 😁
  19. interesting? fake
  20. interesting(new?) fake
  21. 1687 irish halfpenny, showing all the hallmarks of being cast
  22. i'm a staunch slab defender but that one doesn't seem right to me, a lot of the high points showing wear along with most of Britannia showing wear and even missing most of her hair and pretty much no face showing? if i saw this one raw i would put it low MS? some defence for it is the fields show little/no damage and the rim looks good, also some good colour to it too which is pretty rare on a non proof for these. I fully agree with you though, this one looks about as over graded as JB's usual listings
  23. nice cast with no copy stamp
  24. my time to shine 😀 i cannot justify why but i have an unreasonable amount of these halfcrowns(About 65 in UNC from 1928-1936) this one looks good and i agree with the others at AUNC, some edge nicks bringing it down a little bit. Tough to picture these with their true colour, from what i see ifs reasonable purchase at £13
