  5. It's not impossible that the kellyt1992 account was hacked. Someone spent around £5000 on that a/c between 12.13 on 2nd and 12 40 on the 3rd September, mostly very high end goods. It's also not impossible that around 60 other sellers have been had over by a chancer.

And if you look at his fb, a lot of small dealers are buying. In quantity. They're good enough to fool Joe Public, and we'll be seeing a lot of these being sold for real very soon.
  9. I remember dealing with Malcolm Ellis in the 60s, and he's still going I believe.
  10. That's an idea that hadn't occurred to me. Thanks Peck.
  11. This is what I'm trying to find out. How do pages link, can you incorporate a shopping cart, how easy is it to maintain and or change copy? All the sort of stuff a techno nebbish needs to know.
  12. OK, so like many of my generation I'm a stranger to HTML but I keep hearing that it's possible to create a website using WordPress which is essentially a blogging tool. Does anyone know if this is correct or has anyone tried it?

  23. AFAIK, there is still no VAT on printed matter. As for being charged £8.66, this would indcate a base cost of £43.30 somewhere, was that the declared value of the books? £9.00 sounds like the standard P.O. customs clearance charge (for which they pay around 47p) All in all it was probably down to a misdeclaration as to the nature of the goods which attracted the attention of the Duty boys. VAT can be charged on dutiable imports and the cost of clearing them.
  24. There's a surplus "n" in the seller's name. And he's a daft one too.
