Yes, also just finished wading through a couple of kilos of 10 pf pieces and found sixteen 1949 issues, my boredom threshold is nearly breached so my 8 year old son has been "volunteered" to help me sort through the bags of 2 and 5 pf this afternoon. The Kaiser reich coins would attract more enthuasium from collectors in Germany, look through the silver first if there is any, 2,3 or 5 reichsmarks 1900 and lower

No need to sort them out by letter, just list what you have and along with the mint mark, A,B ETC, maybe a rough grade and i'll go through my Jaeger book (German coin Book) the Spink of the German coin world and get back to you. I used to collect the German coins but sold them all on to concentrate on the English coins, i'm originally from Scotland but now in Munich

Ok, i have 2 coins that have for sale, the 1st is a bank of england 5s/$. This coin was bought as an EF+ from a dealer whiCh i still have the receipt for, its an immaculate coin with lots of show through of the Spanish 8 Reales, i have takeN some good pix of the both coins am selling, but pay particular attention to the BOE 5 shilling on the obverse where a lot of detail is seen underneath, also on the reverse some detail can be seen there also. This is aLso a partially weak strike around the date on the obverse. There are a few varieties of this coin, in my opinion this is the type 4, the K is raised under the shield and leaf points to centre of E, there is a dot after REX and inbetween CHK. The other coin is a beautiful 1853 penny (young head) again bought as an EF+ and this has some nice purple toning to it. If you want to make an offer but not publicly then just send me a message, i'll leave these for a few days and see how it goes.

Its actually called Three halfpence (for colonial use) Spink number 3915 not quite sure about the grade but spink has for a VF 6 pounds and EF 25 pounds

no this is not the version of the coin i have the j.e.b on the coin is higher up. if you look at the small ptotos i have uploaded the j.e.b is embedded on her shoulder. i have this version though aswell nice photos by the way Your pix are quite small and hard to see, can you upload better ones?

2 things. The reverse die is about to break up (see the crack around 'O') and the obverse die has clearly clashed with its partner at some time. What looks like a spider's web between the neck and the bun is a reverse image of the fabric around Britannia's waist. This is extremely common, so common in fact that a quick check of my collection shows that 5 out of 22 pre-1874 pennies suffer from it to some degree. 1867 is not that rare in the low to middle grades but is actually quite scarce in tip-top condition. Lets remember the golden rule, a coin is only worth what you as a buyer or collector wants to pay for it :-) I personally quite like the coin, but not 30 quids worth :-)
