  1. Although He never commented in the grade As yet
  2. He must be churning them out, does'nt it seem odd that the Same seller would have so many? The seller has another couple in similar condition!
  3. and Rev of above OBV
  4. 2nd coin, this one is actually quite worn
  5. Rev of the above OBV
  6. Next 4 pictures are the 2 1905 Halfcrowns that London coins are selling, their grade is VF, so if those are VF (this is more for Peck) then i'm very happy to say mine must be EF. See what you think, i've kept the pictures at hi res so it's easier to compare
  7. Now i see where you get your grades from
  8. Email sent, so hopefully a reply tomorrow with timescale and cost etc.
  9. Name, Tel number and Email address all in hand. Off to send an Email for cost and timescale etc
  10. In the back alley Red?
  11. Hmmmmm off to look at PCGS in gay Pareeeee
  12. London coins next auction is June, so i could more than likely Commons the slabbing and consigning at the same time i suppose
  13. Both of those are an option. Does PCGS have a European base or are they just in America,. I assume CGS takes on average 30 ish days or more?
  14. Plus now He only has 1 more chance at an offer, so if its 700 quid then ya Know He was trying to pull a fast one
  15. Sounds a but iffy if he's saying its worth 300 and upping it to 550 don't ya think. I'd Stick to what you think it is, sounds like he's trying to get it cheap to me
  16. I've had interest already 400 but Fall short of what i believe its worth, so i'm an interested spectator on this weeks London coin auctions, 2 1905s in there at VF estimate 1750-2000, so an EF should be? Depending on how they go i may go for that option myself
  17. Lol, an absurd 1800
  18. Here's another from the same seller. 1841 Half Sov, very nice to, but a hefty price tag
  19. I think the AU grade was of the American standard John, which is EF UK standard. I think its better than GVF personally, although i would say that i suppose, but whatever, it shall be weighed, measured etc etc etc, as someone else said Eddie is notouriously difficult to capture in an light, but i hope it's as nice as it looks when it arrives. The same seller has an 1821 farthing, unfortunately he's saying it's proof, which its not, as i looked through the topic coling started about the very same coin last week ish, still a nice coin, but not the proof type he's saying. I shall inform him of this when mine has been sent out, don't want any cockups there
  20. Coin was Grades AU, i'm thinking probably American AU rather than the english version, so EF. Dealer is reputable and in Europe, quite Lear the Channel actualy that should give you a good ibdicator which country. As for price, well for now, 4 figures and personally it does look good to me also, an honest coin As they say and by the Looks of it, it has a nice Gun metal grey to it. In Hand pictures will Be uploaded when the bugger arrives. Peck, do you have friends who work Ar CGS? Lol
  21. Lol, its got a bloody mind of its own this Thing
  22. As i Said 400, if its iffy it fies back, i get my cash back and all is well in the world again, how many opportunities do you get to grab a coin like that? It looks good and from a dealer, if it turns out iffy then we can always have good pixs as a reference for future, i've always been impulsive and wasn't going to let such a good looking coin Pass by. I'll save the pipe smoking until i reach 21 (again)
  23. I don't know yet Gary, was just found today
  24. Well that makes me happier, spoke to him this morning and going to do what was suggested.
