  4. There's a Spammer on site. Here's 1 from me, if you want plate size you'll have to wait till tomorrow and i'll take a couple of pics and email them
  5. Those two side by side as a comparisson would be good
  6. He also says he is not too sure of its age. Does anyone know when these were made? If so they could answer his question and point out it is a modern copy at the same time. Just a thought. He replied to my message and removed it. Amazing! Obviously knew that not all ebayers are idiots
  7. I'm still seeing 150kb upload limit
  8. I'm still, of course, resisting the temptation to say "Told you so". (Oops...) My initial thoughts were...........Coin 5 is EF, digs on the OBV, Leaf veins worn, REV left hand thistle has wear along with part of the crown, could be GVF at this rate (sorry) you know how harsh they are So you know what to do with your "i told you so" as i was also correct, i was being evasive as they were going to CGS
  9. Lmfao, it JUST got there Peck
  10. I've done exactlythe same bagerap. They are getting nothing else like they were getting previously. I have a few bits i'm gonna list on German eBay and then am done until there is a level playing field I wonder how many more are doing the same for the same reasons
  11. Not a laugh, more for those who have slightly deeper pockets than me to purchase a rarity http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141290584896?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D141290584896%26_rdc%3D1
  12. Is that what they call a phonesex worker these days
  13. I like the BM plans to publish an online catalogue of all the 80,000 coins in their vaults. Edward VIII is a good monarch to start with, but I rather hope they follow it up not with Liz II but perhaps George V or Edward VII or Victoria. Still, I expect it will take some time to accomplish. I wonder if it will be free access or will we have to subscribe to see it? Perhaps a book would be better
  14. Well done you, you must be proud, but i do believe a Scottish coin did hold that record back in the 1970s, a 1576 £20 piece, bought by Spinks
  15. £460k including commission? Or hammer plus juice i have the realised price List from the Baldwins auction if you still want it Rob, i can Scan and send over the weekend
  16. I'm surprised that people still buy from this joke of a seller. His name is highlighted all over the Internet for his dodgy slabs and even dodgier grades
  17. I think you may Be right about the Gold hue pics Paul, they did'nt portray it correctly. The other i did like but that streak on the OBV let it down
  18. The other sold for £140, i was a tenner out
  19. Oh dear, looks like Westminster are back to the shitty tactics again. It can only mean one thing considering when they were out in front they were all for showing the polls, the table and tide is turning towards independence http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/05/14/publishthepoll-scottish-independence-poll-blocked-westminster_n_5321641.html?utm_hp_ref=tw
  20. Sorry, confusion reigns. I was talking about the1863 open 3 penny
  21. Can anyone explain to me this relatively new grade of EF for wear GVF for grade mullarkey 151297733446
  22. I think the complete set of maundy was meant as every Single set for Chas II through to your present Monarch however many sets that is at present is anyones guess
  23. There is no subject of maundy. They were talking pennies. So on the subject of 1927 threepences, of course there's a way too Tell the difference. A normal 3D was only made in proof for 1927 and it has the acorn reverse, a maundy 3D has a large 3 on the REV, but as i've just read PRE 1927 then thats a little more difficult and i'm not sure of that answer. Hold on, someone will arrive soon
  24. I just recently read that a friend of mine must have had stuff listed but as it did'nt sell she did'nt bother checking eBay for a couple of weeks. It turns out that ebay had relisted the items for her without her knowledge. She only found out when she got a bill for the fees
