  1. to me it is an 1874h there looks to be a clean area in the H spot
  2. will not be worth much, but it is special to you. i dunno how much counterfeits go for but some of those maybe valuable.
  3. why would someone machine off an H when it was less worn.. then spend it
  4. the picture above my one i think i can see the top of the H on mine the line around the edge is intact, but there is something more with 1876H, i have loads of H coins in this grade, some have the rim+teath wear reaching the H but the H is still there, the date wears down to the H level on the others that havn't had this wear, this goes for 1874H 1975H and 1876H the one i posted above is the only missing H
  5. the wear pattens make no sence for the H to wear away. its definatly clogged die
  6. it is listed, i think it is a clogged die though i had this one a while
  7. yea thats one of the patterns for 15 quid i dont like the Laurillier portrait though or the massive teeth on the pattern. they look odd
  8. louis XIII i think, need other side as the french had quite a few jettons, and coins from this period
  9. drifting right back on to the post office not bought anything in a week or so, then a card for a special delivery item, asking for £5.99 for an item i have no idea (the only item i know of doesnt have the same number) because the sender didn't put enough postage on? £6? i can see nothing that warrents six quid postage nor should the senders not paying enough postage be my problem.
  10. should ask about die numbers on the 1862 halfpenny and 1863 pennys, and why those dates, and the 1897 high tide, 1895 tridents and 1903 open 3
  11. hey we have pictures.... but you cant see em... erm yea. we killed him and dumped him in the sea.... erm yea SCREENSHOTS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN are they acctually baiting the conspiricy theorists
  12. but why change it mid way through striking?
  13. wondering about this, its the only denomination to have 2 head sizes, and small head is scarcer then the large? so is it a mule or was it done to finish a die?
  14. i got a scrap 1882 halfcrown. it was listed wrong on ebay and got it for a pinch a fair few months ago (a few quid i think) those were fairly low mintage, so who knows.
  15. there was stuff about this in the 2010 coin yearbook the danes came first in 1234 but the info is correct 1548 on some gold, and the first armabic numeral dates were 1551 halfcrowns
  16. citeh are all that is bad in the current game of football get these trophy buying teams out now :/
  17. didnt make mine possibly made mine with a £5 hamemred punt buy... looks like elizabeth 1st wire line inner circle hargroat or penny
  18. at least you are getting them, i have been waiting 3 weeks for one of my purchases to be processed :/
  19. maybe it was held in a device which held the coins in a tube, spring loaded pushing to extract them?
  20. i have some austrian WW1 pow camp coins i found in the tokens tin at my dealers. where in krause are these listed exactly? never seen the isle of man ones, but there were also tokens for use in military bases so plenty of nice little pieces to find
