one i got a week or so back all this talk of notsgeld, and other misc token coinage of that period, there are all sorts, I have a porcelain One and a french paper 10 centimes
when I went to york there were some nice coins in the Antiques centres, bit expensive but Identified properly (freeman numbers etc). and as it is new, its a good chance to get it going with Quality rather then rubbish.
can get commerative medals with Hitler on though, another annoyance of Paypal is it asking for passwords when you pay multiple sellers, and not when you pay them seperatly
anouther countermarked Douzain, although this one doesnt appear to be one i can identify. those came in a bunch of 3, but for some reason the best one of the 3 appeared to have missed the camera (it is superior to these by a long chalk)
alright thanks, this is the only really old one i own, found on ebay many many moons ago hehe just grabbed a silver one with a bit of damage for £16. which i found on ebay UK.... lol
they should get rid of americans who call thier CENTS, pennies, making searching for info on the real ones difficult penny isn't worthless, unless they get rid of the good old .99p
yea Krause is expensive and there are like 4 books worth to cover everything. i'm loaded with the red book and an old modern world coins book from the mid 60's. what i do need is a Bitkin for my russians :/
can see the line that is the 1, in the curve of the 2, I laso have an 1771 for comparison on the placement, as you can see they more or less line up digit for digit, also the first 7 is possibly over as higher 7. showing die reuse?
