  1. how i lay my Excel sheet out is: eg: Date • Picture • Description • Price Paid • Valued at • Date Purchased 1937 • .......... • Bla, Bla, Bla • £1.25...... • £6.......... • 1-1-04 ................................................................................ .............................. etc...
  2. I use Excel too, but i do sometimes put it onto a table set out on Front page. Excel is a very useful package for keeping an accurate record.
  3. Yes, welcome back william, you havent missed much...
  4. most from the website?...were there any nice pennies there?... you are now making me envious, and i dont really like half pennies
  5. may i ask what: are on page 19 of the pdf file? ...Also, shouldn't the example pictures be the same size to the nex one eg: page 18.pdf, an example of a toothed rim border, and, a beaded rim border, the first picture is bigger, i think that they should be the same size
  6. Sorry to post three times after each post, but; In the Collectors Coins 2004 book, it lists: 1875 H REG 1875/2 H 1875 H RF.G is the 1875/2 H only with REG? because my coin is a 1875/2 H RF.G, and i think that the book should be changed so that it says; 1875 H REG, 1875 H RF.G and 1875/2 H, otherwist it is confusing!
  7. This is it! Believe me Jmd what I do everyday in the 'coin industry'.... compiling the book, boxing up accessory orders or books, or coins, updating the websites, keeping check on you lot, answering emails, sending cheques, moving money around and many other tasks, I wouldn't have time to do anything else even if I wanted to! I am a professional coin dealer, and that is all I do (if you include the book this with that, as it's related). There are very few people that can say that is all they do, but I'm one of them. Well done chris hope you stay well in buisiness
  8. other then coin dealing, what do you do for a living chris?
  9. does this mean that (as i have said before) : if one posts in 'A' and then posts in 'B', can one go back and edit 'A'?
  10. some of the victorian coins say 19-- instead of 18-- (page 6 - 1975/2 H farthing instead of 1875 )
  11. (still cant edit ) it also has RF.G instead of REG...
  12. is a 1875/2 H farthing rare?...i am not into grading older coins, but it has about 70% lustre on both sides with full detail (EF/GEF/Unc, not sure), what is its value?
  13. I PM'ed you, but happy birthday again
  14. Looking through my farthings, i noticed that i have a 1853/2 overdate farthing, what is the value of this in VF/GVF condition?
  15. save it onto your computer, then try
  16. Yes, fine, I'll make sure it's 32nd. Oli brought up the Hanover thing as well, and I fail to see the problem with having it spelt the German way. It is instanly recognisable however it's spelt as a place in Germany, so why not spell it how the natives spell it and erase the 'Hanover' version from the English language! Hannover is german, its a german name, just like saxe-coburg-gotha.
  17. Email the seller, and ask if he would give a 10 day guarentee...then if you get it, see if it is a fake and then send it back if it is
  18. some people are funny
  19. Extra Fine 1) bit better then fine condition. 2) 3/4 of the postage i will keep
  20. i already have a 1963 US Franklin Half Dollar, and i dont want any more american stuff, it drives me crazy
