TomGoodheart Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 IMHO Fair at best, which is the grade below Fine: "A coin that exhibits wear, with the main features still distinguishable, and the legends, date and inscriptions still readable". . Quote
Jordan0693 Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 Thanks for all the replies, it came in a box I bought off a friend of a friend for £30, 200 coins in it so its a good deal in my books. Quote
Michael-Roo Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 What else was there in the box. Anything interesting? Quote

Coinery Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I know nothing about foreign coinage, but I wouldn't hesitate at £30 for that little lot, plus a 190+ more! Well done! Quote

damian1986 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 You probably even did quite a bit better than £30 in the bullion value of those coins. The silver 2 Franc weighs 10 grams and is probably worth more than bullion value anyway. Nice Quote
Peckris Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 15p a coin - that can't be bad! Especially considering you have some Victorian-era and earlier 20thC items in there. Quote
