1949threepence Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 (edited) Are the 1927 sets in cardboard cases supposed to be in any way inferior? (I'm assuming not). Is there much of a premium for a set in a leather case, if so, how much?Hmmm......I'd take one in either type of case. Edited December 2, 2013 by 1949threepence Quote

Gary D Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 Has anyone got a spare 1953 set with the Reverse A penny? I'm still kicking myself for not going after that set in the 18th Sept DWN auction. I'd spent 2k on a crown the day before which ended up going back and I had expected the set to go through the roof. Was I suprised when it went for £4200 hammer Quote
VickySilver Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 That crown just went for 2500 plus the juice at DNW! Quote
