Nicholas Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 I think the H7 Sovereign is Group I. Didn't know they existed on the market... Quote
Rob Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 (edited) I need a Henry VII sovereign to tick the dragon mintmark box for the collection. It's a good job I can fill that slot for a mere £110K book in VF for the type IV. Better remember to do the lottery next Tuesday Edited June 22, 2013 by Rob Quote
Nicholas Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 Oh yeah haven't checked the catalogue. Yeeeeoouuucchh!! Quote

Rob Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 don't think i'll get those for 0.99p + P&P If you would stretch as a far as foregoing the penny change, I'm sure you could get a museum copy. Quote
Rob Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Now that the catalogue is up on-line, am I the only one who thinks that the coins are nothing to write home about? Sure there are Henry VII sovereigns which are desirable in any condition as a collectable item, but the rest of the gold is of dubious quality. Certainly no must bid items with the majority worn and/or scratched. Quote

Nicholas Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 Agreed. A bit like watching a new movie trailer that has all the best scenes in the movie. The rest is disappointing.. Quote
