argentumandcoins Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Why Gary? Are you looking for a free holiday? :D Quote
azda Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Bloody good idea, wonder if Bob has a spare room for 5 weeks Quote

Peter Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Bloody good idea, wonder if Bob has a spare room for 5 weeks Bobs house will be empty. He suns himself in Florida quite a bit (or anywhere that there is a good coin fair) Quote
Gary D Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 The reason I ask is that I'm looking for a big favour. There's a $10 dollar coin coming up in a couple of days on ebay and the seller wants $37 p+p to the UK or $1.25 to the US. Just wondering if someone would do the decent thing and bid on it for me then post to the Uk at a decent rate. All costs incured would obviously be covered. Quote
RLC35 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Azda, I do have a spare room, but there are no "client services!" You have to make your own bed, and breakfast...the same as I do. Retirement was supposed to be a life of leisure, but my wife says she is retired also, and refuses to work anymore! <gggg>Peter, The "Sunny Florida" thing sounds pretty good. If I do that, I'll have 3 bedrooms to let! LOL!Gary, I'll do it, send me a PM with what you want, and we will work it out. A small package can be sent to the UK for about $2.00 cheapest way! This is what I use for low value coins. Quote
