It's better than VF. The seller gives it gVF, but I think it might be EF in the hand. The big danger is that it could have been cleaned which is not certain from the images. It's quite a decent coin for wear though.

I agree - it looks EF to me too. And the toning is gorgeous. I think that's a fair price tbh.

Yes but... compare the wear on the plaits which is where they go first. I think what you are comparing here is a coin in NEF or EF with one that is probably NVF. By my reckoning the e-bay coin is likely to be the better bet and I don't think £90 is that outrageous for what looks like quite a nice coin.

Agreed - that 45 Euro florin is AT LEAST a grade and half lower than the eBay item. Take any checkpoint you like, you will see more wear (with the possible exception of the legend).

Pretty odd 'blue bit' on the obverse ?

Previously enamelled, now cleaned ?
