A Happy New Year to everyone.

I know I'm 15 minutes early but this will be the last chance I will get for an hour or so.

Happy New Year to All!

Any New Year's Resolutions?...

Since I am retiring this year (age 72 is long enough to work!), I want to do some travel, with my wife, who is already retired. Maybe to the UK!

Numismatically, I want to continue to upgrade my Penny and Farthing collections.

Good Luck to All in the new year!

I don't blame you Bob, your've done your time for Queen and Country (sorry Bob, President and Country ;) ).

Numismatically my New Year's resolution is to concentrate of GB silver coins and to complete my brass threepence collection. I need 2 to complete E-II and 14 to complete G-VI. I currently have 17 E-II and 5 G-VI.

Am I correct in the totals to collect 19 E-II and 19 G-VI?

You're missing a few. There are VIP proofs for most years other than when sets were produced and there are also edge varieties for 1941 and 1948 where the corners can be either sharp or rounded. There are also a few Edward VIII pieces if you are feeling particularly flush.

Mark,

Unless I mis-counted there are 15, Geo VI, and 16, E-II. I don't collect the proofs, so that would be an addition, if you are saving them.

Good Luck with your collection.
