absence of uniformity Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Can I ask please; what is the best condition 1*+C you have seen? I found one last week which is 100% 1*+C no doubt in the normal heavily circulated condtion. I also found the coin imaged I wasn't 100 % sure with this one because the tooth is slightly out of shape. What do you think? Thanks. Edited 1 hour ago by absence of uniformity Quote

PWA 1967 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If you turn the coin over you will see the 1 in date is to Gap and for F164 & F164a is to tooth. The obverse although has a few indicators (in the groom book) has a wider Gap between T & O which you can see even if the teeth not there. Quote
PWA 1967 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago In answer to your first question the best i have seen was Garys on the forum which from memory i think was slabbed GEF with some lustre. Plenty now turned up in low grades but very rare in better than VF. Quote
