Peckris Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Probably the first and last time I will see anyone get excited about a 1937 penny. 1 Quote

1949threepence Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 @terrysoldpennies Terry, was the 1937 sold to you as a proof? Quote

secret santa Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 It appears that the 1901 has the last 1 over a gap because the 1 is tilted slightly. Have you by any chance checked with Michael Gouby that the one he talks about in his book was also tilted ? Quote
PWA 1967 Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 (edited) It also does not touch the tooth as the normal one does ,as in the first 1 in the date. Edited May 4, 2018 by PWA 1967 Quote

There is in fact three types but the middle one is so similar to the normal one as to make it extremely difficult to tell them apart. I should add that although slightly rotated the 1 is also closer to the 0 than on the other two. Edited May 4, 2018 by terrysoldpennies Quote
