argentumandcoins Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Looks like a Maori warrior on acid.... Quote
Sword Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I cringed when I saw it for the first time. Then I decided it isn't so bad. The slightly bowed head, the rather shy demeanour, and big simile does remind one of Diana. I still don't like looking at it though. Quote
1949threepence Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Yes, it's certainly an unusual, and not especially flattering representation of the late Princess. Talking of eyes that follow you round, when I was at Junior School, we had various prints by old masters, adorning the walls of the dining room, many of them portraits. I remember one in particular, whose eyes always seemed to be boring straight through you. He had a somewhat contemptuous look on his face, as though he was thinking of the person he was looking at as a complete idiot. I always imagined him saying, "Seriously, how can you eat that rubbish?" Happy days. Quote
copper123 Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Its a good likeness but the lips spoil it I am sure they are what should be altered Quote
Peckris Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I wouldn't mind the eyes following me round the room. It's the teeth that spook me... 1 Quote
