Also bought the 1879 with the 'shuttle' above the lighthouse . Great to meet Richard, pretty in pink, sad not to see Pete but Semra said he had not turned up. Nice lunch in Spoonies between the penny sections. And hot chocolate in Starbucks on the way home. Perfect day. Jerry The 4F was a beauty. Good haul Jerry. Quote

secret santa Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 It was good to meet Prax in person at the auction - he showed me a very nice 1934 penny with missing waves which was new to me - any chance of a pic Prax ? Quote

Interesting i have looked at quite a lot in search for a really nice one. Most are stuck reasonably well on the reverse ,so would also be keen to see a picture Prax. Was it both sides Richard or just to the left as seen a couple like that ?. Quote
Nordle11 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Yes would love to see a picture please Prax. Quote

Pleasure's all mine. Sorry Rich I've given it to CGS for grading so I cant get you a picture. In the next few weeks it should show-up on their database and I'll post the UIN then. Quote
Nordle11 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 This will probably mean that they open a new 'variety' in their population report for this. Quote
secret santa Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Prax reminded me that there was a 1934 no waves in the James Workman sale which I'd forgotten - pic below. I should add it to the new Freeman appendix. Quote
Nordle11 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Is this coin the same one Prax had or there have been 2 found now? Quote

Nordle11 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Thank you Terry, another one to keep an eye out for then. Easier checking this year for missing waves than the 1967/1966, there are just too many of them to check!! Quote
