  1. That's a good start. I'd give you £300 for it, although it would probably fetch more on fleabay.
  2. Or indeed, I could do that myself.
  3. Hmmm, I might be a bit late getting to the show. I live less than 20 miles away. However, through somewhat poor planning, I will be departing from the Manchester area after visiting a mate the day before. I didn't think that through properly.
  4. Thanks Pete for sorting me out a cracking 2d. Well pleased, as always from you. Photos are carp because it's slabbed though.
  5. Fingers crossed Rob.
  6. £280. Not particularly unreasonable but more than I'd be willing to pay.
  7. That it was inert? Still, it gave me the opportunity to test the cleaning power of acetone:
  8. That's 30 years or so in PVC for ya!
  9. Yes, it says it is. It's a good job I never kept any of the good stuff in the old album, that's for sure.
  10. Did I see somewhere that forum members get a discount from the Predecimal shop, or have I made that up in my own head by wishful thinking? I need a PVC-free album for a load of foreign stuff once I've cleaned the green off from my old PVC album.
  11. If it was you, can I pop round and have a look?
  12. Estimated at 90-120 I think. And £200 was my bid so gone to someone with deeper pockets.
  13. Did I win mine (2281)?
  14. What do you mean by a broken punch Rob?
  15. If someone had told me mine was a proof I would have believed them. There is enough about the quality of the fields to let me think this might be the case. However, the breaks in the lions' tails would make me think different, as they indicate a lower quality of strike. I don't really know enough about the edges to come to a decision one way or the other.
  16. Certainly seem to be a lot of marks in the fields Mynki.
  17. You git! I fell for that!
  18. Yup. Lasted a matter of minutes. Separate Faceache account required methinks.
  19. Interesting. What do we think it depicts then?
  20. Just a 0 feedback seller with a 3-4k coin. The relisted auction has been ended now - maybe offered to the highest bidder even though the reserve wasn't met?
  21. So what are the key indicators 1887? I also thought I might have a proof (although now accept this is unlikely) here https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BxBRenK8v0n-T0dhdTdzNWFoZ2c&usp=sharing due to a mirror-like quality of the fields (which I cannot convey in a photo). I'd appreciate your opinion.
  22. Of course. If you were looking for one you'd have found it in about Fine and bought a sixpence instead.
  23. I'll try that group but predict it will irritate the hell out of me.
  24. More jealous! I draw the line at Faceache groups, but that makes me think twice. It's better than my high tide.
  25. Jealous. Haven't got one of those in any grade.
