  1. Snapped up already! Enjoy the coin /end thread
  2. Thanks for the info David! Not up for sale though, I meant as a freebie, I have no use for it and I'm sure there are collectors who might appreciate this more than I ever could... Just pm me if anyone wants it!
  3. Sounds skeptical. I've had this happen to me once, however the package had a very small slit in the side (roughly coin size) and the coin had been removed from the plastic 2x2 flip case and then the case inserted back into the package. I informed the seller and he refunded almost immediately, I blame RM for that one. Depends what the seller says I guess, you might find he refunds in full and contacts the deliverer for compensation (I imagine the reason why it was sent special delivery).
  4. Nice 1908 Half-C you have on there sir.
  5. Anyone collect Dutch coinage? I bought a big lot of British coins the other day and tucked away under some paper was this.. It's got lustre outlining the edge and apart from the '2 1/2 cent' on the reverse it has pretty sharp details. I didn't really have time to get a proper picture so this one isn't great but it'll do. Dated 1881, if anyone knows value or collects these just give me a shout, I have no use for it... (reverse in post below)
  6. ROFL. I've just thought of the way I could "enjoy" the best of both worlds : take photos of my entire collection, then run each photo through Photoshop applying vast amounts of the Hue / Saturation filter to selected parts, while leaving the original coin untouched!! I'll try and remember to make a start tomorrow and show you the first attempt Hahaha, looking forward to this...
  7. Very nice website design, smooth interface accompanied with some very nice pictures. I like the idea of an 'Under £100' section too..
  8. Haha totally XD. The only difference being it didn't cost $2000-3000! I quite like the Lightning bolt but all of these definitely fall into the the category of 'nice to look at but would never buy'..
  9. Look like it flipped out of the machine as the reeding was being applied Looks that way indeed.
  10. The m. is just an indicator that it's a mobile site, so Nicholas is most likely on a mobile phone or tablet. Link's fine, it's a scene from the first Anchorman film. Oops. And there was me with visions of 'Marina' or whoever that Romanian model was whose picture was used in a spam post here, for guys looking for luuuuuurv. I've never seen Anchorman before, but that scene was HILARIOUS!! (Especially as I remember the song..) For the sake of humanity I will happily lend you my Anchorman DVD to watch.. It is the most quotable film I think I've ever seen. Damn, this burrito is tasty but it...is...filling...
  11. I am beholden to you sir, thank you. End of thread/
  12. And here's the reverse/obverse? Matt
  13. Hi all, New member and new poster (although I’ve spent a lot of time reading through these forums) and I’ve come across a coin that I just can’t seem to get anywhere with. I’m under the impression this isn’t a British coin going from the design but I can’t ascertain.. Pictures for your perusal, any help is always appreciated as usual. (I have to put them in seperate posts sorry) Thanks, Matt
