  1. Oh well. Very kind of you. Merry Xmas to you and all. Dan.
  2. Any pics?
  3. The newest you can get. 2015 waterloo one. it's my xmas pressie from the wife.
  4. I have just got a crown with frosted finish on the obv but standard BU finish on the rev. It stands out from the other ones in the set.
  5. I see where your coming from. Not a deliberate variety but accidental which is quite common. I will keep it as an R/R variety. Cheers Dan.
  6. Here is another R over R 1837 Shilling. Pretty bad condition. Can this be classed as a variety now?
  7. I missed out on all of the lots I tried yesterday but got one today.
  8. Just got this one through the post today. It's a 1837 shilling. I could see the R over R on the listing so had a bid on it. The lower R is quite out of place. I've graded it as fine. I have not seen another one like it. Could it be classed as a variety as not a repair on a worn die. What do think?
  9. I did wonder but like you said no O in HALFPENNY.
  10. There are a good few cracks in it but why would the letters be 3 different sizes?
  11. The shield seems to have more lines in the cross and it also has a 1 over smaller 1. I have seen the odd recut letter on the legend but not the whole thing. What do you make of it?
  12. The P. The ENN are the same as the letters in ONE.
  13. My 1870 (12 teeth) has an interesting over legend on the whole on " ONE PENNY ". I also have the 13 teeth type. Didn't know about these teeth width until I saw this thread.
  14. A pic to compare. Mine's on the right.
  15. Looks like it's going to be a refund .
  16. It's happened again. No item ( I got at a good price). Seller says it was sent recorded but can't remember the tracking number . Pull the other one.
  17. I have a nice run of pennies on the go. Probably my main interest followed by Shillings , Florins and then the rest.
