  1. I looked at it at a friend's - there's quite a lot in there! I don't think it's "tatty" either
  2. I don't have Excel but I'll download the file and email it to myself and pick it up at a friend's house. All my MS Office has gone since I formatted my PC and I haven't got round to reinstalling it.
  3. Makes no sense anyway!
  4. Surely worst losses, JMD?
  5. Marginally better but I think £3 is a bit steep with all those spots on it!
  6. Thanks for clearing that up - I'll try it now!
  7. I would really love to buy that old, rare antique coin! Look! It has a charm too!
  8. I think we need Chris' final say on this!
  9. Too right! I'm going to London soon and I'm going to pop in to Coincraft to buy a copy, and see what they have on offer - if anything. Edit: D'ya reckon it would be ok if I used CC2004 and Spink's and averaged??
  10. Can anyone answer my previous post?
  11. Can somebody straighten a few questions out? I've been allocated farthings and fractions with JMD but which prices do I collect? On Mr Cooke's site, he only displays sold prices for coins with pictures (when price > £20) and farthings rarely go above that, so I can't find out what they sold for. Also, how should I go aboutn collecting eBay prices? Should I collect them in the last 24hrs of an auction or the last 30mins? Thanks in advance
  12. Extraordinary obverse, with the unfortunate Mr. Paine swinging from a cross bar - I've never seen anything quite like it. The reverse is a bit of a let down though, compared to the obverse. I think the engraver could have embellished it slightly. Great token though! And I agree with Chris
  13. Doesn't look as if you've signed up - you posted as a guest!
  14. I really hate the George VI obverse with that horrible side parting sweepover mess that's going on on top of his head. Thank God we didn't have any Edward VIII ones!
  15. I don't find the young Victoria head as appealing as, say, any George IV head! EDIT: Americans and their damn slabbing! All of those beatiful coins are encased in slabs!
  16. They are super but when I went to that web address, I can't find the inventory with photos - can you? Edit: Found them!
  17. The debate was already cleared up
  18. Just noticed my typo. I meant 1826 too :S
  19. I wouldn't, I'd buy an 1825 one. I challenge anyone to find one!
  20. It does indeed
  21. These things are fairly common. I just id an eBay search for enamelled in coins and it turned up 20 results. These things are done perhaps to mount on a chain or as a brooch, and I think the good ones look quite nice but some other members will disagree! I don't really know how much a 1967 would be worth because it is quite a common half crown. It would all depend on the quality of the enamelling for which we would need a scan or a photo. Edit: Why did you post this three times :S Edit 2: My post is now redundant because of Sylvester's!
  22. Brilliant! Not the selection of the previous one (for maundy at least) but the pictures and variety make up for it - very nice find
  23. That's what I've been thinking but when you look, there's not many maundy oddments around, on the internet at least. I googled maundy money (look - predecimal is in the blurb!) and found quite a nice site with loads of bits and bobs but it didn't really look "proper", if you catch my drift. I'm a bit wary about purchasing anything because they don't have pictures - ut they do have a huge selection! The first set I'll try to assemble is probably a George III wire set.
  24. Can you tell us what the question is, please? And erm the address for entering
