  1. Ewwww looks like copper, might be better in hand, difficult to tell. The RM pictures still seem to have the pictures as a normal proof would look like, polished, i don't think they aren't representing it properly in the online pictures
  2. Buying these from ebay is as dangerous as riding a bike on a tightrope across the grand canyon without knowing how to ride a bike
  3. Why not ask the question and also ask for pics of the rim?
  4. @Paulus Grading is done in Munich, it will start on the 18th Feb for 1 week, the next is pencilled in for May but not official as yet, i'll hopefully get it pinned down when i pick my submissions up on the 27th Feb
  5. Do you know anyone who can read Chinese? Maybe your local takeaway, they might be able to decipher the 2nd one.
  6. So, i was just over at NGC, next on-site grading will be sometime in May (not official as yet) but that's the info i got
  7. An interesting one
  8. Surely this should have been a cleaned details grade
  9. Got this in my email today for anyone interested. Pre-bidding in 5 days https://coins.ha.com/c/auction-home.zx?saleNo=271911&ic=breadcrumb-coins-121913-interior
  10. I would personally ensure that they will be treated with due care Stewie, what size of drill bit would you like? 😁
  11. If anyone is looking to get their coins graded then let me know, i can possibly help out as NGC are doing on-site grading at their Munich office and it's only an ubahn ride for me. They start grading next week 18th Feb and finish on the 26th Feb when i will go and pick up my submission that day, i think are doing this every 2-3 months, so if i can help anyone out then just let me know. Of course its also a matter of trust, but i've been on here long enough for most regulars to know me, i've also met and spoke with Rob if you need some sort of confirmation. The offer is there...
  12. Would love to hear your defence of this MS64 NGC graded coin LOL
  13. Unfortunately not mine, popped up on a Sov group i'm in, but thought i'd share so you can keep your eyes peeled, but its clear as day....
  14. A clear unlisted variety me thinks
  15. Wow, look at East of Scotland in that map.......Quite a few Universities in Dundee itself, then St Andrews just across the water.....
  16. Not if you buy their new 2oz Brit, 87% over spot 😉
  17. Shhhhhhhh, don't tell everyone 😶
  18. A new 2oz Britannia was released yesterday, really not into the design nor the £3750 asking price, but a 100 mintage
  19. You'll get 100 to the pound
  20. I completely agree Rob, not sure what the difference is though between sending yourself or taking a coin to an NGC office, the price is surely the same.....Although, i don't know if it is or not, but can't see how it would increase. On ebay, you send a coin and it's your liability until it arrives into the buyers hand, the same scenario should theoretically apply here because you are paying for the return shipping
  21. Found this on the NGC website if you ever think about submitting coins, or maybe for anyone that uses ebay for buying/selling etc, couple of insurance companies to look out for Shipments to non-US addresses are not insured.
