  1. Could just be the awful toning but I'd want to see this one on the scales before I bought it, my scales that is😉 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/123849889017?ul_noapp=true "t is a superior collectors coin with a superior tone one for the big boys and LADIES and is worth every penny "
  2. Yet, “I never clean any coin dirt is age tone and patina and i always handle them with gloves on A nice coin for any collector” 🤭
  3. The seller states 1 available, I wonder which one you’ll receive. There are two examples photographed.
  4. Guess who what a surprise...Marleybob again
  5. They say Oscar Nemon’s design wasn’t exactly flattering but if this uniface example hadn’t Churchill’s name in legend you’d be hard pressed to identify who it is.
  6. Diversification in readiness for a cashless society. They will have some good stock to peddle.
  7. I added one to basket and the RM will add a Peter Rabbit BU 50p free of charge. Don’t all rush at once.
  8. Far from being a penny aficionado, I had to read a thread from 2013 to see that F90 is a narrow date. In that post RCL35 had just picked one up in Chicago and various estimates were bandied around at that time ranging from £2.5k to £10k. Just out of curiosity how many examples are known to exist of this type, roughly speaking?
  9. Interesting clip Numismatics’ nemesis, Numistacker again. What a surprise.
  10. I’ll wager that it is the efforts of the Predecimal contingent, via Ebays worst, that gave them the idea. 😉
  11. tea stains all down my shirt😂
  12. Exactly, who’d not spot the laurel leaf pointing toward the ‘A?, it’s always the N on the halfcrown, did these scoundrels not attend school? “On Cromwell’s halfcrown doth the wreath and crown be be’neath the N” every schoolboy knows that. what a damn poor job. Do ebay classify in levels of fakery? i’d call it a fantasy piece, does ebay define what a replica is? I don’t have the inclination to check to be honest. It reminiscent of sorting your garbage.
  13. @azda at least he does show the plain edge, though omitting to mention it in the text. It’s a believable out.
  14. Gentlemen, PROOF? of PROOFLIKE, like?
  15. reminded me of a funny quote from an old 80’s film starring Kathleen Turner, “although we may run out of Panam coffee, we shall never run out of TWA tea”
  16. Colin, Apparently Andre is still alive and kicking and behind the White Greyhound. Did he have something to do with your fougazi?
  17. Ah, Come off it, Eileen...
  18. Yes Peckris, I downloaded the Multicollector however the editor is unavailable. Must admit I didn't pay much attention to the video in the hope someone on Predecimal might have had experience with it. The old adage, "read the instructions" rings true. Thanks for that I'll explore further.
  19. 😂 sounded painful
  20. Pete, for the uninitiated, what is ‘pow fagged’?
  21. Anyone have experience with LignUp? I just dl the trial version and it will suit my needs if the templates are open to extensive modifications, which they claim is the case but unfortunately trial does not permit.
  22. An interesting snippet in CoinWeekly and though directed more toward the hammered penny market, nonetheless interesting and still pennies. Good to know the British coin market is attracting foreign buyers.
