Also pleased with this 1904 penny I got from David Craddock. It's not the easiest date to get in tip top condition. Uncirculated with 95% lustre - ever so lightly toning. Unfortunately, evidence of a fingerprint on the reverse, and there is a small carbon spot on the obverse. Think I've finally resolved the colour disparity.
They already do on-site grading and slabbing, i have a couple there now and they are doing on-site grading throughout this week, i'll be able to pick them back up from next Monday
It is rather sad that so many people only care about the number on the slab rather than what the coin (and even less what the slab) looks like.
Can you imagine the insult of putting for example a Charles I Oxford Crown in a plastic slab? If one were to slab such a treasure, it should be between two pieces of sapphire glass at least!
You’re like the genie from the lamp! Nice to hear from you, hope all is well in Oz. You have my best mate and his wife over there somewhere at the moment, so be very careful in traffic or crossing the road, especially after the bars are open!

50p's to me are just things to flip.
I confess to owning Kew, Olympic set, A-Z and a few other examples.I live my life in the fast lane.
Numismatically I neither want or require them.
