scott Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 That is just a filler design, so something is there so oyu can get a rough idea of what the reverse will look like ifyou went for a similar design to the current £1. Quote

That being the Queen's favourite mode of address for him... Quote

Colin88 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I have to ask why?......conservatively its going to cost £100m to change all the coin machines.....still, thats £138m less than we gave to Somalia in aid....and only 10% of what we gave to India for their space program....sorry, I meant in aid.... scott Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 odd thing is I have found ONE fake in the past year, so I have seen less of them. Quote

azda Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I'll just say that i like it. An interesting design and Beats the boring round coin. I can forsee many errors with this design, in the recesses and on the edges, good old royal mint. It can also be said that the Queens head won't be on them too Long either, she's. to got many years left in her, so probably collectors will be stashing some of these. Quote

By that point William will be 61 by this point so say another 20 odd years of him before George will take the thrown. could be an interesting time. Quote
azda Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Will Charles get to reign considering he's divorced and has married a commoner? My assumption is that if he does get the chance that he max pass it straight over to William Quote
azda Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 reverse of the patternI wonder what the mintage is, are these going out to the vending machine industry?David cant be right its got the scottish lion on it.............. I think he might pass on it, but I kind of don't want him too. Quote
Chris Perkins Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 That doesn't seem to matter any more. William has also married a commoner (much commoner) so technically Harry is next is far as I'm concerned, unless he marries a commoner too! Quote
