There are a few Peck nrs for this date (and varieties not attributed)

The pre 1860> copper 1d's are IMO a beautiful coin.There are a couple of bank account

Totally agree! I'd definitely start from both ends with a penny collection! ;)

Thanks guy's,i have a 1853 one penny of which iv'e been looking at closely.I have noticed the beads on the colon next to DEF are a different size.one bead looks full the other one not.Any idea's guy's,cheers jim.

Hi Jim. Any chance of a closeup photo? The colons on these are prone to be a bit all over the place, both in terms of their size, depth, and alignment.
