Greetings, i am Patrick A.K.A. Hello 17

As most of you know, i collect coins. Now, as i am still legally a child you would think i collect decimals or penny's from the 60's? Well i have a (in my opinion)nicer collection. ranging 700 years in length with alot of silver. My 5 favorite coins are my silver penny, my 1674 Charles II farthing , my 1799 Halfpenny , my 1887 silver shilling and my 1902 Low Tide penny.

As most of my generation have knack of listening to modern music which is cr*p. My music of choice is Rock, ranging from the 80's to Now.

I am wanting to learn the guitar, using a SG - Style guitar as my learner guitar (under £150 :D)

When i have learn't the basic and what else, i am so going to treat my self to this guitar : http://www.fender.com/en-GB/products/classic-vibe-stratocaster-50s

My other hobbys are jewellry making , astronomy and polishing

I also like computers.

I am a Leo

I am in year 11 (A.K.A 10th Grade ) and i have my GCSE to do.

Well done young man.Your hobbies will stand you in good shape.Learn about the history of coins and why people thought the Earth was flat.

If you could let me know why beer tastes so nice and a T bone steak is....well lovely. :)

i'm also allergic too beer.

Steak is lovely because it's meat and we are omnivores, people thought the earth was flat because land was flat (unless it was a hill).

When boats left the horizon,it looked like they had fallen off. Galileo belived the earth was round. He also discovered 4 of Jupiter's moon.Ganymede (bigger than pluto and mercury), Io (Very Volcanic), Callisto (Heavily scarred by craters, believed to be the most cratered) and Europa (Icy planet). Europa was in greek mythology.

Keep it up, Patrick. You have a great attitude to life. Study hard and get qualified, don't waste your money on smoking or drinking, don't lose sight of coin collecting, and don't get led too far astray by girls. Good luck !!!

Just as a matter of interest, how do your classmates and friends react to you being interested in coin collecting ? (or haven't you told them) I know when I first became interested and mentioned it to a few, they couldn't get their heads round it and stared blankly at me.

I don't like alcohol. best to 'waste' money on coins. or other shiny things.

My friends didn't really care. some asked how much it's worth. i say , it is worth between 250-500 (with my eyes).

Weirdest coin incident was a few years back when i was playing at school and my 'aquintance' found a half franc from the 60's

Very good Hello17.

What is the hobby of polishing? A hobby of polishing coins would be fantastic. What is it that interests you about collecting coins? Good luck with the exams.

Astronomy and polishing - perhaps Patrick is the guy who makes the stars twinkle! Maybe it's something they teach them in Year 10 which is also Year 11 weirdly...
