For those that haven't seen it before, the one on the left is a normal currency piece, the middle one is from a 1953 proof set and is brilliant (hence the fields show up dark due to minimal light dispersion) and the one on the right shows a VIP proof shilling with the cameo frosted effect arising from highly polished fields.

Yes, I've always thought that weird. After all, we've uploaded the image and therefore it's on the server and can be viewed in perpetuity by anyone browsing that thread. So why isn't there an accessible "library" of our uploaded images that we can use again if we want to?

the archive of our uploaded images can be viewed under "my settings" and then "manage attachments",

im just playing around at the moment to see if there is a way of using the attachments in the manner you describe.

perhaps admin may know for sure if this can be done or not.

So,if somebody interested,this is what i found:

it is known as singapore merchant token, or also known as singapore/malacca keping.

the coin was circulated around 1831 in malaysia,singapore and sumatra.

this is a coin minted by soho mint,birmingham on request by singapore merchants for trade purposes as british technically did not have a colony at that time in malay peninsular.

singapore merchant token is worth around 100 - 150 usd in unc condition.

only the 2 keping variety is expensive other varieties are cheap but the unc ones are hard to come by as it was heavily used for gambling in later days.

the coin that i have is struck on 1799 half penny by the mint workers for amusement purposes.and usually was used as good luck charm by gamblers.

i found similar "error" 1804 sumatra token,estimated Price 500-600 $ (not sold)
