Can anyone give me their opinion of the grade of this coin, it has been offered to me as almosy uncirculated, Thou I think it is much nearer AEF,The price is £22O.OO I have offered £80.OO.

With all those contact marks, keep your hand away from your wallet. It isn't a rare coin and if you want a gEF or better you will find one in a reasonable time.

A nice coin but £80 is too much £40-£50 would be an OK buy

Here's a picture of an almost proog penny, slightly touched, the cost for this is €350, makes the 220 pound look silly.

Nice proog (well, I suppose a proof is "almost a proog", alphabetically speaking :lol: )

Yes i just noticed the spelling error, and you guessed right Peckris, it was meant to say proof. He also has a half penny in the same grade and same year
