thanks. got the coin through yesterday. the git took a scan of a shilling and in the end sent a bloody norm sixpence. i can say i was not impressed with him.

never mind the hunt goes on

Same thing happened to me - the seller couldn't see any difference between the obverse of a 1927 and 1928 penny and swapped the pictures. I thought I'd discovered a mega-rare 1928 mule penny ... then I saw his 1927 penny and realised what he'd done. Needless to say I withdrew my bid

Got this one on e-bay some months ago for $6. It was gold plated at one time and most of the gold has worn off, but still lots to see. The date is 1887. Sorry the picture is not very good.

Azda .... I think your photo is of the more common variety rather than JEB on the truncation. I have a few of these.

There are a number of varieties/errors with this sixpence in addition to the JEB on truncation (that is on my buy list). For example, there is also R over V in Victoria (I have two of these) and R over I in Victoria (that is also on my buy list).

You want to sell some? The use of 'no' for 'know' is a specialised eBay spelling, we understand (as in "I no nothing about coins...").
