absence of uniformity Posted yesterday at 01:14 PM Posted yesterday at 01:14 PM (edited) When I count what appear to be teeth from the image I count an eleven tooth spacing if I draw in what I think to be teeth it looks it could be 11.5. My gut feeling the coin is a 11-tooth (Gouby BP1896Ac) what do you think? Thanks Edited yesterday at 01:15 PM by absence of uniformity Quote
jelida Posted yesterday at 06:36 PM Posted yesterday at 06:36 PM Very difficult to say from the photos but to me the non annotated image suggests 11 teeth rather than 11.5. The outlines are rather bunched towards the end, and the tip of tooth 10 in the first photo protrudes above your gap between 10 and 11 in the second photo. However happy to be corrected, let’s see what others think. It just doesn’t stand out like the wider dates should. Jerry Quote
Avocet Posted yesterday at 08:27 PM Posted yesterday at 08:27 PM I think the above is correct. The outlines seem to start going astray around teeth 7 and 8, both of which are a bit too narrow. This is my 11.5, alongside an 11: Quote
PWA 1967 Posted yesterday at 09:37 PM Posted yesterday at 09:37 PM I am pretty sure its BP1896Ac 11 Teeth, but yes clearer pictures of the teeth and without the lines The teeth have reasonable gaps between them and the drawn teeth on the picture a distraction. Quote
