The chairman of Russia's Lukoil oil giant, Ravil Maganov, has died after falling from a hospital window in Moscow, reports say.

The company confirmed his death but said only that Maganov, 67, had "passed away following a severe illness".

Russian media said he was being treated at Moscow's Central Clinical Hospital and died of his injuries.

Maganov is the latest of a number of high-profile business executives to die in mysterious circumstances.

Investigating authorities said they were working at the scene to establish how he died. Tass news agency quoted sources saying he had fallen out of a sixth-floor window, adding later that he had taken his own life.

I surpose the guys that pushed him were described as "medicine" .

Senseless. Could be down to a lack of maintenance or poor design. Hospitals should be fitted with Human impact-resistant windows. Could have saved his life.😬

Along with slow poisoning, shoving dissidents out of high storey windows seems to be a method favoured by the Russian authorities, as a way of bumping someone off.

I think he's trying to be all things to all people. He's a fascist even though he claim to be de-nazifying Ukraine as a good socialist. He just does a pick and mix from the dictator's handbook - after all, there's bugger all difference in methods of repression and execution of policy whichever side you look at, just the target scapegoats who have the misfortune to be named. The extremes of either side have always been separated by little more than the thickness of a cigarette paper. 

If you want to de-nazify Ukraine, the most bang for your bucks is the return of 100K+ Russians to their homes. And if the majority travel in body bags, then it will hasten the end of Poo Tin.
