Unwilling Numismatist Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Just because I was poking about in the washers, and I don't really understand sometimes.... Is the Normal date like this: and the (suspected) 3/2 date like this? Quote
PWA 1967 Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 None of those are Kev ,sorry i have not got a good clear picture that would help to show you properly ,plenty of them in low grade though. If you were checking a BU one it would be much easier to spot 🙂 Going back to the other thread probably better to spend time on ones worth looking for as even if you find a 1893/2 in that grade nobody will want it . Maybe someone will have a clear picture for you to make your own opinion on them 😊 Quote

Peckris 2 Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 The existence of a rare-by-then overdate in 1893 makes me wonder if the OH was intended to be for 1893 like the silver but they postponed it until 1895 and used some 1892 dies for pennies? Quote
