I see there are several good photographs of 1865/3 Pennies online, especially Michael Gouby's website.  But I have not found very much on 1865/3 Half Pennies and what the date looks like on these coins. Could this 1865 Half Penny be a 1865/3 overdate?

I'm not so sure. The second stroke of the "3" is too sharply angled towards what would be the top stroke?

Thanks very much everyone for your comments.  Looking at the London Coins website, the common denominator seems to be the thick top shaft of the 5 and/or the little bubble on the end of the bottom sweep of the 5 - which matches the bottom of the 3 in the 1863 half pennies.  I've had another look at my 1865 half pennies and found a couple of other possibles, I'd appreciate if you could let me know what you think of these?

The first example is clearly a double strike so I'd discount that. The second is rather faint so I'd not like to say. The third though looks like it could be, especially as there's traces of the down stroke and also something is going on with the loop of the 5 (though that could equally just be damage).
