Sabahl Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 So here is something I dug up during a bout of metal detecting, of all things. The poor coin is being held together by a thick layer of verdigris but I was wondering if there was any chance of identifying it even though it's in pretty poor condition. Quote
PWA 1967 Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Do you mean its identified as Rang Tang ?. Quote
jelida Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Looks like a standard 1862 halfpenny to me, and not collectible in this condition. Are you querying a variety such as die letter to left of lighthouse? I'm not convinced. I think you gave the id in the title of the post. Jerry Quote
