Blocked dies remove detail, broken dies give added detail. Although people use the term blocked (usually referring to the incuse bits getting filled with crap), it is in fact damaged, with a bit fallen off

Was going through some coin's and groom book mentioned blocked 2''s and this one was different than all my others so wasn't sure

Yes it is what people refer to as a blocked 2, partially blocked anyway. Nice catch.

I think 1921 and 1922 pennys have the most blocked dies - yours is a partial blockage

Once considered a proper variety , now not , poorly  regarded and only fetches a small premium over ord. coins
