  1. For 1881H F108, Michael pictures 1881Ha and 1881 Hb - Ha with lower H and Hb with higher H, both with 11.5 teeth spacing. No mention of either of these being unusual, and no mention of rarity.
  2. Rather than missing waves, I'd say that it's the exergual line that's (partially) missing, probably damaged post-mintage.
  3. Honest answer - absolutely not.
  4. Love that book and film.
  5. I thought I had a rival............
  6. Could you give me link please.
  7. Take a look at: https://headsntails14.wordpress.com/victoria-bronze-reverses/
  8. Yes, you're right, it's the LCA picture of my coin - strange how different photos of the same coin can be so different at first glance.
  9. Out of interest, may I ask where this picture came from ?
  10. You can't really compare this with the 1877 F90 which is one of the truly most sought after rarities in the bronze penny range, instantly recognisable and a true "variety", whereas the BP1860Jb is more of a "novelty" variety without being disrespectful to it. I suspect that not many people look for it, but it is interesting and congratulations for finding another example.
  11. Thanks Terry - I'll add it to the site.
  12. I don't think so. Terry - that's my own coin and it's not the one featured here.
  13. I was going to say that it's fine on my PC but then it took around 20 seconds to come up.
  14. Definitely not an H - as in all your pictures of the 1875H, the H is below the 7 and 5 whereas on your coin, the shadowy "H" is higher.
  15. I would say it's an F82. The figure 5 is more upright on the 1875H.
  16. Yes, "The British Bronze Penny 1860 to 1970", but it's out of print (it's another A4 ring binder).
  17. I seem to recall that it's out of print. Message Chris Perkins to check.
  18. I have added the F90 to my website - let me know if you would like a personal attribution.
  19. And the moron even advertises it as Queen Victoria !
  20. Wonderful find - I've added it to my website. Let me know if you would like personal attribution. Regarding grade, I view the grade of a coin to be reflective of the amount of natural wear/circulation; any further damage should be included as a qualifier.
