    Think I know this one. Edward III Groat 1567 spink E(1354-5 Broken letters, v often with nick in r limb. 4.4 g 27mm across.

    Thanks for your help. i have quite a few short cross, cut halves and quarters. will have to put them on another day as i struggle to i.d them.

    Thanks UKstu .. how did they spell bury st Edmunds was it the EDMVHD it just says bury st Edmunds in the book I have, not the abbreviation of it.

    Thanks Zookeeperz 2097 says roses by bust..mm pellet in annulet, I think the mm looks like a rose but not sure. I tell you what I need some help Thank you.

    Henry III long cross without sceptre I have absolutely no idea what the reverse legend says ... I can see SEDMVHD. Help appreciated.

    It came out of the ground silver so that's what it must be. I don't have any way of checking to be 100%

    I'm not sure but think its Henry III short cross Nichole on Lund. Now I'm not sure how to class coins. but I think it's class 7b as this looks like coin number 1356B in Coins of England, but what is confusing for the class 7b it says ..Letter A with square top, M appears as H, now in the legend there is no A or M. how does this work ? thanks for any help.

    Hi guys Hope you don't mind me keep putting coins up for id. I have quite a few I have found, but I'm not so good at the i.d part. I like to have a go but I'm never sure if I'm right. I'm going to have a go at the i.d myself, but can you put me right thanks for any help.

    Thanks Rob. Yes I would go with you on the free drink, or maybe handing them out in the street for a free sample in the shop.

    Were these made just for advertisement? or could you buy goods from the store? its plain on the reverse. not sure about age, but maybe 1800 ish
