did anyone know of this coin being released is what i'm getting at ? what with the recent 1/4 oz gold £25 peter rabbits just wondered what these special things are, this was a blog onthe trial of the pyx, love the Henry III thing

gold thats been hacked off a bigger lump, not weighed it yet but it was probably used for payment etc, its high carot, you can see the cuts made to trim it to a certain weight or bits cut off to make a weight

nice toning but i just couldn't get over the state of the obverse, at least it was a nice honest picture, may look better in hand,
i do like the cameo George VI, is my favorite bust of all and i believe its been called the most technically perfect bust,
anyway picked this little beauty up, couple of very light hairlines in front of the forehead but that reflects the grade,
