atscaper Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 I have a few Victoria crowns but it's not what I usually pick up. This one came with a grouping of other coins I picked up a month or so ago and have just gotten to sorting through. I think it looks pretty good with good details. What are your opinions on it? Thanks Quote
Garrett Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 it might be a double-florin.Not a bad coin ! Quote

Peckris Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 It's a bit tarnished for my taste, but it's certainly EF at least and looks to be problem-free. Nice example from a very short series. Quote
Coinery Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 The toned obverse wear suggests to me an element of modern, maybe artificial, toning, which doesn't ring 100% right for me personally. It doesn't look like a lustrous tone, more likely a cleaned coin retoned...IMHO Quote
