Gary Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 I dont know if I have asked about this one before so I'll apologise up front if I have. Can anyone shed any light on this, a crown sized coin/medallion 35mm, 2.3mm thick and weighs in at 15.8g (so not silver). It has a milled edge and seems to be made of a white metal although shows signs of plating. Any info would be appreciated, thanks. Quote

Wrap it and try and slide it into someone else's bin. Quote

Generic Lad Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 I think it looks a bit better than the 1965 Churchill crown myself! Quote

Nick Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I hear a distant rumble. Must be Pistrucci turning in his grave...He would definitely not be impressed if he saw the official Royal Mint 2007 or 2008 proof sovereigns that bear his initials. They are shockingly poor quality. Quote
