But does anyone seem to have noticed how the new 2011 £2 coins all seem to have marks on the inner part that are there as if the machine that pushes the centre in has left an image like two large () ?. I thought it was just grease or dirt so tried to remove it with a cotton bud, it remained though. Nasty mint people. Still it could be me. Quote

scott Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 they have had those marks before, the 2008's especially, the quality of strike was sub par as well.i got a darwin one. for 3 million minting figure it has taken this long to find any?the 2012 one will probably commeorate 20 years since the resizing of the 10p or 1 year since last year or something.
