Peter Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 HiThe 1st picture the copper coins are worth nothing and the silver (post 1920) have intrinsic value...50% silver.The 2nd picture all the coins (pre 1920) are sterling silver which is 92.5% pure.The coins are in a very low grade and the lot may make about £40/50 on ebay...maybe a little more.That's enough to buy the Xmas Turkey Quote

Me, I'd keep three coins from the second picture, as being reasonable foundations for the start of a collection. Top left and top right, and bottom right. Not great value but decent enough to keep.The third picture needs re-taking - it's way too dark, especially the bottom (obverse). Quote
