azda Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 (edited) Is this listed, not to sure, any takers? The V in VICTORIA. I've put it here for the time being as i'm unsure if it's a confirmed variety or not. Edited September 18, 2010 by azda Quote
RLC35 Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 That looks like a Repunched "V". There is no variety (V over V) listed for that Half Sov. though. Quote

RLC35 Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 I was looking at it upside down, and also in a picture, instead of in the hand...so I wouldn't have as good of a view of it as you. But it did look like it might be a double punched V. Quote

Peckris Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 (edited) How do you manage to upload such large pictures az? No way are any of my Photoshop pictures (even at 5/12 minimum acceptable quality) anywhere near as small as 150k.The strange thing is, I can upload a picture that's close to the limit - 140k say - but when it's uploaded here it's apparently only half that size. However, the forum software isn't going to let me upload a >150k picture "knowing" it will be compressed smaller, will it? Edited September 18, 2010 by Peckris Quote

Through nero photshopi can also enlarge pix, the picture here on the Half Sov was only around 40kb, so i cropped the dealers picture then blew up the OBV picture so you could see what i was looking at.So any thoughts on the Half Sov, i'm not convinced its a repunched V as the line under it looks to straight to me. Difficult to see what it is though. Possibly an I ? Quote
