I asked this over at Coinpeople and got a response i pretty much expected.

What about here, do you prefer tea or coffee? (or other...)

Can you edit this to make it a poll, Sylvester? (with you mod abilities and all!)

I'm a fairly heavy tea drinker, about six or seven cups of lapsang souchong a day although I do sometimes have keemun (Grandparents very into tea!).

I don't mind both, but I prefer a good cuppa. Unfortunately with lack of the right tea bags/milk/water and tea making knowledge it's not easy in Germany unless you import it and make your own.

i don't moderate this part of the forum, it's Chris' territory.

And i'm a chronic tea drinker... i have been known to demolish 12-20 cups on sundays, i've cut down alot lately, usually have 2 cups day. I had one so far today.

Earl Grey ain't cheap you know... :D

Coffee is alright but i've had about three so far this year. (which is more than i usually have).

Now on the US group it was coffee all the way, except for me, makes a nice change to see i finally fit in!

And mines tea; no milk, no sugar.

i used to drink it white but then i started with it black on the odd occasion, developed a taste for it and before i knew it i'd stopped having milk altogether. I still have the odd one with milk.

I don't like tea or coffee :D

I have never had a cup of tea without milk! I must try it without milk sometime! ;)

Just to divulge a little, can I ask how you can possibly a Half Penny expert aged 15? Please don't think me rude, but real study to expert status in any given field takes a lot of time and learning. I appreciate you have a geniune interest and a wonderful growing collection, but I dont think you're quite up with Dr Nicolson yet.

I probably know more about halfpennies than you, but I wouldn't even think about calling myself an expert, not for at least 20 years!

Tone it down a bit old chap, or you'll end up getting invited for Mastermind or something.

i think i've got along way to go before i'm an expert in anything... despite what Chris may think by making me an expert member! ;)

It takes years of study to be an expert.

Assam or Darjeeling and the occasional Earl Grey. No sugar ever and no milk if it's my favourite single estate Earl Grey.

Strong black coffee about once a day, no sugar and NEVER instant. Instant coffee is banned from my house.

Geoffs right, instant just does not cut it!

Coffee please. Not instant - that's just something that rhymes with spit.

Espresso (lots of sugar, not stirred, just sat at the bottom of the cup) or cappuccino. Filtered is ok with cream.

Tea? Earl Grey.

I think it's something you grow into. At your age my children never touched tea and coffee, but now in their late teens and early twenties they drink gallons of tea.

(Yes - this is my 200th posting, but I'm being very grown up and not drawing attention to it :D )

Its tea for me, without it I would die of thirst!
