Red Riley Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 University Challenge tonight contained a round on Benedetto Pistrucci. The questions were pretty easy, and good general knowledge/reasonable guesswork would have got you the right answers, but I don't remember anything even remotely connected with numismatics on telly before (excepting perhaps the hoards of Roman Coins that turn up un Time Team). Seriously, I don't think I have ever come across a TV program for numismatics, does anyone know of any good DVD's (preferably for GB coins). Quote
Chris Perkins Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I have been thinking for a little while about doing some amateur videos, with me presenting of course and then putting them on YouTube. It would be a start! Quote

It was very interesting seeing the process in reality. Quote

It's Jeremy Paxman now and the teams get the full Jezzer patronising approach. Mind you, the ignorance of some of today's students does beggar belief and you can't blame him sometimes for his attitude.BTW - I wonder how many people on here are too young to understand the Bamber Shilling monicker?G Quote
