Citizen H Posted Friday at 10:09 AM Posted Friday at 10:09 AM Safe to say Elizabeth 1, 1567......mm. Coronet 👍 Penny.....? I did try to weigh it but the kitchen scales aren't sensitive enough to register anything this light. Quote
Martinminerva Posted Friday at 11:23 AM Posted Friday at 11:23 AM Not a penny as it is dated. Can't determine denomination without other measurements ideally weight, but certainly diameter. 1 Quote
Coys55 Posted Friday at 01:17 PM Posted Friday at 01:17 PM You really need a set of jewellery scales. EBay have loads for less than £5. A cheap vernier caliper would also be useful for measuring your coins. Also £5-£6. 1 Quote

Hello, errmmm it looks like 15mm ...Threepence?!? the spink is a bit sparse of images of the Elizabeth I coins.....that i have in the 2009 edition, I understand that this is quite a challenge and I really appreciate all the input and all of the time looking into these matters I raise, once again many thanks, 👍 Quote
Coinery Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago No, not a threepence, it’s a threehalfpence. Coys is right, though, you definitely need a set of scales. 👍 1 Quote
